Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Trading Research & Strategy Virtual Assistant to support an active futures and options trader. This is not a trading position. Instead, you will serve as the trader’s research partner, accountability coach, and data analyst by ensuring every trading decision is supported by research, risk management, and strategy, not emotion. You will organize trading data, backtest strategies, monitor account performance, review trades, and help improve consistency across multiple trading accounts with different objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize multiple trading accounts with different objectives and risk profiles.
- Research market conditions, trading concepts, and strategy improvements.
- Backtest trading strategies using historical market data.
- Track and document every trade in a structured trading journal.
- Analyze trade performance and identify trends, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Ensure trades align with predefined trading plans and risk management rules.
- Review completed trading sessions and provide objective feedback.
- Identify emotional or impulsive trading behaviors and highlight deviations from the strategy.
- Prepare daily and weekly performance summaries.
- Monitor and understand the rules of proprietary (prop) trading firms.
- Assist in optimizing strategies within the restrictions of various prop firm accounts.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and trading documentation.
- Continuously research new market information that may improve trading performance.
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Within the first 60–90 days, the successful candidate will:
