Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Roofing & Siding Estimator to support our estimating operations by producing fast, accurate takeoffs and estimates from architectural plans. This role is critical to ensuring pricing accuracy, improving turnaround time, and supporting both new construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly accurate, comfortable working independently, and experienced with roofing and siding estimation tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed roofing and siding takeoffs from architectural drawings and plans
- Prepare accurate material quantity estimates for new construction and remodeling projects
- Utilize industry-standard estimation and measurement software
- Review plans to identify scope gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information
- Ensure estimates align with company standards and project requirements
- Maintain organized records of takeoffs, estimates, and supporting documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders
- Meet agreed turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a roofing and/or siding estimator
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
- High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Experience with estimation and takeoff software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools)
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience estimating both residential and light commercial projects
- Familiarity with U.S. roofing and siding materials and standards
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based construction or roofing companies
