Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Recruiter / HR Specialist to support hiring and workforce management for a growing service-based organization. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and hiring field employees and operational staff while supporting key HR functions such as onboarding, compliance, and employee documentation. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting high-volume, hourly workers, understands employee retention challenges, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
  • Availability during Eastern Time business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, community groups, and referral networks.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone and video interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage recruitment pipelines and candidate tracking systems.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of qualified candidates for open positions.

HR & Employee Support

  • Assist with employee onboarding and new hire documentation.
  • Conduct background checks and employment verification.
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files.
  • Support HR compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with employee relations and retention initiatives.

Workforce Planning

  • Develop sourcing strategies for high-volume recruitment needs.
  • Track hiring metrics and recruitment performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing initiatives.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
  • Update candidate statuses and hiring workflows.
  • Coordinate communication between applicants and management.
  • Assist with special HR and recruitment projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or staffing.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience conducting interviews and candidate assessments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple openings simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting high-volume hourly workers.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and employee onboarding practices.
  • Experience recruiting for field service, maintenance, operations, facilities, cleaning, or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with sourcing through Facebook groups, Craigslist, and alternative recruiting channels.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), ClickUp, or similar project management tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Female candidate preferred.
  • Experience with high-turnover workforce recruitment.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to connect with diverse candidate populations.
  • Comfortable handling both recruitment and HR-related responsibilities.
