Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Affiliate Marketing and Content Manager to lead the growth and monetisation of a well-established personal brand within the finance, business and entrepreneurship space. This is not a traditional social media management role. You will be responsible for building and managing an affiliate marketing programme while developing a strategic content ecosystem that increases audience engagement, drives website traffic and creates recurring revenue opportunities. Working across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, websites, email marketing and podcasts, you will ensure every piece of content supports both audience growth and commercial outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who understands the relationship between content strategy, digital marketing, affiliate partnerships and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Affiliate Marketing Strategy

  • Research and identify affiliate programmes aligned with the brand.
  • Apply to and manage affiliate partnerships.
  • Build relationships with affiliate managers and strategic partners.
  • Negotiate commission structures and exclusive offers.
  • Monitor affiliate links, promotions and programme performance.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain an organised affiliate database and reporting system.

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop monthly and quarterly content strategies.
  • Build content calendars across all digital platforms.
  • Identify trending topics relevant to the audience.
  • Align content with business goals and affiliate opportunities.
  • Plan educational campaigns that naturally incorporate affiliate recommendations.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaigns, launches and promotions.

Social Media Management

Manage and grow the brand across:

  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Facebook (where applicable)


Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and publishing content.
  • Writing engaging captions and calls to action.
  • Monitoring comments and engagement.
  • Optimising content for each platform.
  • Reviewing platform performance.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across channels.

Content Optimisation

Review both existing and new content to maximise its commercial value.
This includes:

  • Updating YouTube descriptions.
  • Adding affiliate links where appropriate.
  • Optimising podcast show notes.
  • Improving website articles.
  • Creating resource recommendations.
  • Strengthening calls to action.
  • Repurposing existing content into multiple formats.

Website & Resource Hub Management

  • Maintain and expand the website’s recommended resources section.
  • Organise affiliate products into relevant categories.
  • Coordinate landing page improvements.
  • Work with web developers when technical updates are required.
  • Ensure all links and tracking remain accurate.

Email Marketing

  • Develop affiliate-friendly email campaigns.
  • Plan educational newsletters.
  • Create nurture sequences.
  • Drive traffic to website resources and educational content.
  • Measure email performance and optimise campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

Track and report on:

  • Affiliate revenue.
  • Website traffic.
  • Affiliate link performance.
  • Audience growth.
  • Social media performance.
  • Content engagement.
  • Conversion rates.
  • Top-performing content.
  • ROI across campaigns.

Provide monthly reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Meta Business Suite
  • LinkedIn
  • Mailchimp, Klaviyo or similar email platforms
  • Canva
  • ChatGPT and AI productivity tools
  • Project management software (ClickUp, Monday.com, Asana or similar)
  • Experience using affiliate platforms such as ShareASale, Impact, CJ Affiliate, PartnerStack, Awin, Amazon Associates or similar is highly advantageous.
